How to swap crypto?

Swapy lets you swap crypto across chains without exposing your wallet, balances, or trade history. You can send, swap, or bridge tokens privately in three simple stages.

Step 1: Choose Your Swap Pair

  1. Open Swapy.io in your browser and select the “Swap” option.

  2. In the up field, pick the token you want to send (for example, ETH, USDT, or BTC).

  3. In the down field, pick the token you want to receive (for example, XMR, USDC, or a token on another chain).

You can swap between any supported token and chain; Swapy will show whether the route is on‑chain, off-chain or routed through private swap.

Step 2: Enter Amount and Destination

  1. Type the amount you wish to swap in the source field.
Houdini will instantly pull rates from multiple routes and show the estimated received amount and fee.

  2. Enter the receiving wallet address where you want the new tokens to arrive.
Make sure the address belongs to the correct network (for example, a Solana address for SOL, an Ethereum address for ETH).

If you choose a private / one‑time deposit route, Swapy will generate a unique, temporary deposit address instead of asking you to connect a wallet.

Step 3: Review and Confirm the Swap

  1. On the preview screen, check:

    • Input token and amount.

    • Output token and estimated amount.

    • Network / chain of the receiver.

    • Any fees or slippage shown.

  2. If you connected your wallet (optional, for some routes), approve the transaction when your wallet pops up.

  3. If you use a private deposit address, copy the temporary address and send the exact amount from your external wallet.

After the deposit is detected, Swapy routes your assets through its privacy‑preserving pipeline and sends the final tokens to your target wallet.

Step 4: Track and Verify Your Swap

  1. Swapy will show an order status page where you can watch confirmation progress across chains.

  2. You can also check the transaction on‑chain (for example, Etherscan for Ethereum, Explorer‑X for XMR‑related routes, etc.), using the transaction ID or deposit address.

  3. Once completed, the new tokens should appear in your receiving wallet or exchange account.

If anything looks wrong, compare the sent amount, receiving address, and network against the order details and contact Swapy support if needed.

Tips for a Private Swap

  • Always double‑check the receiving address and chain before sending.
A mismatch can lead to lost funds.

  • Use private / one‑time routes when you want to hide your wallet identity and transaction history.

  • Start with a small test amount before moving larger sums, especially on new token‑chain combinations.
