Private swap guidline
Private swap let you swap or move crypto while making it harder to link your sending and receiving addresses on‑chain. Instead of a simple, direct transfer, Swapy routes your assets through its privacy‑focused infrastructure so your activity is less traceable.
Step 1: Open the Private Routes Section
-
Go to the Swapy main page and select “Private” button
-
If you are already on the main Swap or Bridge page, look for a toggle or button labeled “Private” and enable it.
This switches your swap flow from a standard direct route to a privacy‑preserving path.
Step 2: Choose Your Tokens and Chain
-
In the Send field, pick the token you want to transfer (for example, ETH, USDC, or BTC).
-
In the Receive field, choose the token you want to get back (for example, XMR, USDT, or a token on another chain).
-
Confirm the source chain (where you hold the sending token) and the destination chain (where you want the final tokens to arrive).
Swapy will show whether this token‑chain pair is supported over a Private Route.
Step 3: Confirm and Start the Transfer
-
Review the Private Route summary:
-
Sending wallet / deposit address.
-
Receiving wallet address and chain.
-
Exact amount to send.
-
Estimated received amount and fees.
-
Expected processing time.
-
-
If you use a one‑time deposit address, send the quoted amount from your external wallet to that address.
-
If you use a connected wallet, confirm the swap in your wallet pop‑up when asked.
Once the transaction is detected or confirmed, Swapy begins processing your order through the private route.
Step 4: Track and Receive Your Assets
-
Go to the Order or Private Route tracking page.
-
You’ll see the status (e.g., “Deposited”, “Processing”, “Sending”, “Completed”).
-
-
After the backend pipeline completes:
-
The final tokens arrive in your receiving wallet.
-
You can check the transaction on‑chain if you want to verify it, but the sender and receiver will be harder to link than in a standard DEX or bridge swap.
-
If the status does not update after a reasonable time, compare your deposit address or transaction ID with the order details and contact Swapy support only through our official account: https://t.me/swapy_io (please do not copy username and use search, just click the link).
Tips for Using Private Routes
-
Always double‑check the deposit address and wallet/network before sending. A wrong address can lead to lost funds.
-
Use small test amounts first when trying a new token‑chain pair to confirm the flow and expected time.
-
Avoid pattern‑repeating deposits (same amount, same time, same address) to preserve privacy.
-
Private routes may take longer than standard swaps because of extra routing and privacy checks, so allow extra time for confirmation.
